WHO WE ARE

Sudbury in Bloom is a voluntary committee which gets together once a month to plan the group's work.

FRESH SHOOTS

Sudbury in Bloom has been active for many years but a new management team took over in November 2017. Andy Howes, Vice Chairman, and key to the success of Sudbury in Bloom, raised sponsorship for the new 'Pride of Sudbury' awards.

These awards encourage gardeners and volunteers as well as businesses and voluntary groups to participate in a competition to deliver a better environment for Sudbury through taking pride in our town. Hence the participants and winners are the 'Pride of Sudbury'.

DESIGNS FOR SIGNS

Funding comes from sponsorship including roundabout signs. New signs have been developed for the future incorporating the new Sudbury in Bloom logo.

The new logo represents the course of the River Stour in blue with Sudbury as the colourful flower at the head of the river. Something that our community can take pride in and which provides a platform for Sudbury in Bloom to develop links within the community to build cohesion and a sense of pride in our town.
