PRIDE OF SUDBURY

Pride of Sudbury is all about resident involvement. Each summer volunteers from Pride of Sudbury arrange and organise an annual competition for all sections of our community.

These awards encourage gardeners and volunteers as well as businesses and voluntary groups to participate in a competition to deliver a better environment for Sudbury through taking pride in our town.

Hence the participants and winners are the “Pride of Sudbury”!

Residents are judged by members of the public which culminates in a presentation in September where prize sponsors present their awards.

2021 WINNERS

Thank you to everyone who entered in 2021 - click to see results on our News page!

2020 WINNERS

For obvious reasons the 2020 Pride of Sudbury competition had to take place in reduced form.

Residents were asked to upload photographs of their floral displays and containers onto our website.

Judging was completed internally with winners being notified by phone and receiving their certificate and prizes by post, unlike previous years when judges visited gardens and a presentation evening was held at the Town Hall.
