Come and join us at one of our free monthly working parties!
Enjoy fresh air and exercise, meet new people, learn more about plants and gardening, help the environment and help make our town beautiful.
Workshops usually take place 10am to 12pm on the second Tuesday of the month at a variety of locations around Sudbury. We carry out planting, pruning, clearing, cutting and weeding.
We would love you to join us if you have green fingers but don’t worry if you haven’t. We offer all the guidance you need and our expert horticulturalist Mark Mason will be on hand to share his experience and knowledge – you could learn a lot!
Don't worry about it being too physical either; as long as you can wield some secateurs and kneel down to pull up weeds you will be able to make a difference to the town.
Can’t manage two hours? We are glad of any help you can give, whether it is an occasional 30 minutes, or two hours every month.
All equipment is provided too – all you need to bring is suitable clothing and your enthusiasm!
We are also looking for people to 'adopt' different areas: weeding and tidying whenever suits you, and let us know when new plants or the help of a working party is needed. The map at the bottom of the page shows the locations we care for.
To get involved just come along to one of our working parties, advertised here and on our Facebook page. If you would like more information call: 07957 817165 or fill in the form at the bottom of the page.
